MUHAMMED ALI
The day I met islam,
I found a power within myself that no
Man could destroy or take way.
When I first walked into the mosque,
I didn’t find islam;
Islam found me.

I talk to Allah every day,
If Allah is with me ,
No one can defeat me,
(defeat:yenilmek,bozguna ugramak)

Islam has changed my life in every way,
It pulled me up and kept me clean
As a human being.
***
Black pride
I woke up this morning feeling good and black.
I got out of my black bed,
I put on my black robe,
I played all my best black records,
And drank some black coffee,
Then I put on my black shoes and
I walked out my black door …
And oh lord, white snow!
***
It is natural to want to be with your own.
Bluebirds fly with bluebirds,
Pigeons want to be with pigeons,
Eagles want to be with eagles.
They are all birds, but
They want to be with birds like themselves.
In nature , all the animals stick together with their own kind,
So why did not we stick together?
